This Privacy Policy explains how PEARLYHAVEN (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses and shares your personal information when you visit or buy from our online store (the “Services”). Our store is hosted on Shopify.

Information we collect

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number, billing and shipping address.
  • Order information: items you buy, add to cart or return, order history and payment confirmation. Card details are processed securely by our payment providers; we do not store your full card number.
  • Account information: if you create an account, your login details and preferences.
  • Messages: information you send us, for example when you contact customer support.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you use the Services, collected through cookies and similar technologies.

How we use your information

  • To process and ship your orders, handle payments, returns and refunds, and send order and shipping updates.
  • To provide customer support and respond to your requests.
  • To run, secure and improve our store, and to prevent fraud.
  • To send marketing emails or texts if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in our emails or by replying STOP to texts.
  • To show you advertising, including ads on other websites based on your activity (“targeted advertising”). See “Your choices” below to opt out.
  • To comply with the law and enforce our terms.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it with:

  • Service providers that help us run the store: Shopify (hosting and checkout), payment processors, shipping carriers and fulfillment partners, email and analytics providers.
  • Advertising partners (for example Meta, TikTok or Google) through cookies and pixels to measure and personalize ads. Under some U.S. state laws this may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for targeted advertising. You can opt out as described below.
  • Legal and safety: when required by law, or to protect our rights, our customers or others.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, sale or transfer of our business.

Cookies

We and our partners use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how the store is used and show relevant ads. You can control cookies in your browser settings; blocking some cookies may affect how the store works.

Your choices and U.S. state privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas and other states with consumer privacy laws), you may have the right to:

  • know and access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct inaccurate information;
  • delete your personal information;
  • get a copy of your information in a portable format;
  • opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information and of targeted advertising;
  • appeal a decision we make about your request.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information: you can opt out here. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as an opt-out request for the browser or device that sends it.

To make any other request, email pearlyhaven.com@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf. We will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 days) and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. If we deny your request, you can appeal by replying to our decision email; if your appeal is denied, you may contact your state Attorney General.

California residents may also request information about disclosures of personal information to third parties for their direct marketing purposes (California “Shine the Light” law) by emailing us.

Children’s privacy

Our store is intended for adults. Our kits may be enjoyed by children with adult supervision, but we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Data security and retention

We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes above, including to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.

International transfers

We are based in Poland and our service providers may be located in other countries. Your information may be processed outside your state or country, including in the European Union, where data protection laws may differ from those in the United States.

Shopify

Shopify processes personal information to provide the store and checkout. To learn more, see the Shopify Privacy Policy. You can exercise rights related to Shopify’s processing at privacy.shopify.com.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and change the “Last updated” date.
